Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is seeking a Route Service Driver based in Clifton, NJ, delivering uniforms, linens, and supplies to NYC-area clients. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour with opportunities for increases, ending at $27.00 per hour by year one.

You will operate a box truck on routes from Clifton into New York City, load and unload products weighing 50–75 lbs, and maintain strong customer relationships with reliable, timely service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).
• Experience operating box trucks in urban environments preferred.
• Must reside in New Jersey within a reasonable commuting distance to Clifton, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck from Clifton, NJ into New York City to complete scheduled daily service routes.
• Deliver, collect, and manage uniforms, linens, and facility service products at customer locations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and professionally represent the company on every interaction.
• Perform frequent lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading of products weighing 50–75 lbs.
• Maintain truck cleanliness, safety, and compliance with DOT regulations.
