Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban or regional planning or equivalent required.
• Master’s degree in City/Regional Planning preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• AICP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce land use, zoning, growth management plans.
• Prepare staff recommendations and present to boards and commissions.
• Coordinate with engineers, developers and citizens on planning projects.
• Evaluate proposals for compliance with laws and ordinances.
• Perform GIS mapping and site plan reviews.
