Job summary

RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture seeks a Planning Associate to support the Project Manager/Director and project team in coordinating public-sector consulting and development applications across Arizona, including rezonings, annexations, and comprehensive plan amendments.

You will gather data from zoning ordinances, manage submittals, assist with schedules and milestones, and collaborate with other departments to prepare permit packages and zoning analyses, while developing planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope and provide regular updates.
• Gather current and historical data from multiple reference sources (e.g., zoning ordinances, master plans, existing drawings).
• Coordinate with other team members and project managers to ensure submittals are complete and delivered to jurisdictions.
• Assist with project schedules and milestones, tracking deadlines and chargeability.
• Support other departments through coordination of permit submittal packages, zoning research, and related administrative tasks.
