Job summary

Ensis Corp is seeking an Intermediate Urban Planner for its Orange County planning team. The role supports residential and mixed-use projects from visioning through entitlements, with exposure to low-density to high-density developments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional planning experience, strong AutoCAD and SketchUp skills, and is 100% onsite in Orange County. This role offers a collaborative environment with diverse projects and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant planning experience.
• Understanding of zoning, entitlements, site design and land development.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site plans, conceptual planning studies, density/yield studies, diagrams and exhibits.
• Support master planning, land planning, neighbourhood, and mixed-use development studies.
• Research zoning, General Plans, development standards, and land-use requirements; perform entitlement due diligence; assist with submittals and public-hearing materials.
• Coordinate with internal architecture, landscape architecture, design, and development teams.
