• 6+ years of consulting experience in urban planning in California.
• Experience with housing elements, general plans, specific plans, or zoning.
• Familiarity with AFFH requirements and housing legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support planning projects, preparing housing elements and zoning codes.
• Research and analyze planning data to create actionable insights.
• Write high-quality planning reports and policy documents.
• Attend coordination calls with clients and provide project management support.
• Prepare graphically rich reports and presentations to communicate ideas.
• Facilitate community outreach activities, making engagement interactive.
