Role Summary

The Store Manager will lead and drive sales by taking an omni-channel approach to the retail experience. Their goal is to deliver an engaging and inspiring environment for customers while fostering team development to create a culture of excellence, creativity, collaboration, innovation, and trust.

Role Responsibilities

Brand Experience

• Act as a brand representative reflecting company values; collaborate on creating an engaging visual experience appealing to UO customers.
• Lead and support the team to enhance the store experience through omni-channel capabilities, merchandising, and displays.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment focused on delivering exceptional, personalized customer experiences, utilizing customer feedback and team insights.

Leadership + Team Management

• Develop a succession plan to attract and retain diverse talent; actively recruit to bring in new perspectives.
• Provide timely, specific feedback; ensure thorough onboarding, equitable development, and high employee engagement.
• Inspire teams through empowerment, creativity, empathy, and shared goals; tailor communication to individual strengths.

Visual + Business Operations

• Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling and payroll accuracy.
• Analyze business and product performance; guide the team to make strategic decisions.
• Lead visual priorities execution in line with Home Office directions, ensuring store standards and safety compliance.

Communication + Relationships

• Promote an inclusive environment, advocating for diverse perspectives.
