Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a Merchandise Planning intern for the Summer program at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA. The intern will support the merchandising team by shaping product storytelling on our e-commerce site and assisting with meetings, sample organization, and cross-functional collaboration.

The program runs 6/7–8/13, includes intern-focused events, and offers exposure to senior leadership. Applicants must submit a concept board showcasing 3–5 Fall 2027 trends for the Urban

Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is looking for a Merchandise Planning intern to join their team this Summer. Our merchandising intern works strategically to tell our products story on our e-commerce website through compelling imagery, key words and easy to shop edits.

The URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/7 through 8/13 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Role Responsibilities

• Learn the product lifecycle and the merchandising role in the process

Project Requirement:

In addition to your application and resume, to be considered for this role you must submit a Concept Board (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred). This is due at the time of your application submission.

• Create a concept board with 3 - 5 fashion trends you see emerging for the Urban Outfitters customer in Fall 2027.
• Pull imagery from blogs, Pinterest, Instagram, runway, etc. to show your point of view – merchandisers, make it into a story!
