Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (education degree preferred).
• Certification not required to start, but NY state certification eligibility required.
• Meet NY certification requirements or enroll in a teacher preparation program and maintain GPA 2.5+.

Responsibilities

• Teach NGSS-aligned science curriculum.
• Analyze student work with principal/coach weekly.
