Job summary
South Dakota Department of Agriculture & Natural Resources, Urban and Community Forestry team, seeks a Service Forester in Pierre to coordinate sub-awards grant programs with UCF staff across the state. You will evaluate tree health, provide technical guidance to communities, assist with urban forestry projects, and conduct workshops while traveling to towns, sometimes overnight, and working outdoors.
A BS in Forestry is required, ISA Arborist certification and pesticide certificate are required
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Forestry or Urban Forestry or related natural resources.
