Qualifications

  • Four years of experience applying tree care and management methods.
  • Two years of supervisory experience in forestry with GIS, GPS, MS Office, Kronos.
  • Three years of responsible supervisory experience in forestry at foreperson level with a related Bachelor's.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Forestry unit planning, organizing and implementing work unit operations.
  • Direct field operations for tree management, pruning, storm response and protection.
  • Develop budgets, manage contracts, and oversee capital and operating programs.
  • Coordinate with City staff, elected officials, partners, and the community on forestry goals.
