Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years of increasingly responsible experience in municipal tree care and urban forestry.
• Two years of staff leadership experience.
• CA Class C driver license; Class B license within 1 year of appointment.
• Certified ISA Arborist in good standing.
• Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (ISA) within 1 year.
• QAC (CDPR) within 1 year of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tree risk assessments to promote public safety.
• Lead urban forestry team and oversee contractors.
• Oversee program budgets for tree maintenance and resources.
