Job summary

Casey Trees in Washington, DC is seeking a UF Foreman to lead planting projects and supervise field crews. You will plan operations, coordinate with the Urban Forestry Manager and Field Manager, and ensure safe, efficient execution of planting, care, and logistics.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in horticulture/arboriculture, ISA Certified Arborist, strong communication, and experience managing crews. Travel to Casey Tree Farm in Berryville VA is possible; this is a full-time exempt role with

Qualifications

Two (2) years of work experience in horticulture, arboriculture, landscaping, urban forestry, or related field.
ISA certified arborist credential required upon hire or within first year.
Proficiency with ArcGIS and Salesforce applications.

Responsibilities

Plan and carry out tree planting projects, coordinating with managers and field crews.
Supervise Planting Crew and Chiefs, including hiring, onboarding and training.
Inspect crew work, provide feedback, and ensure safe, efficient operations.
Manage field operations and event implementation for planting care programs.
Coordinate with Design & Horticulture Manager and Field Manager on site prep and installation.
