The University of Houston-Downtown Urban Education Department is seeking applications for adjunct teaching positions in Houston. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate teacher certification and/or MAT program courses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a field related to the designated teaching assignment.
• For Master's degree courses, an earned doctorate with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a field related to the designated teaching assignment.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the applicant's field of expertise in undergraduate teacher certification and/or MAT program.
• Demonstrate ability and/or interest in teaching in a multi ethnic, multicultural environment.
