Job summary

The University of Houston-Downtown Urban Education Department is seeking applications for adjunct teaching positions in Houston. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate teacher certification and/or MAT program courses.

Candidates must demonstrate ability and interest in teaching in a multi-ethnic, multicultural environment. Preferred qualifications include at least three years of public school teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a field related to the designated teaching assignment.
• For Master's degree courses, an earned doctorate with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a field related to the designated teaching assignment.

Responsibilities
