The candidate will work on entitlement processes, environmental strategies, and major development agreements, collaborating with clients in California and federal venues. JD from an accredited law school and California Bar membership are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in California land use or environmental/energy law.
• Proficiency with statutes like the Subdivision Map Act and Clean Water Act.

Responsibilities

• Represent applicants through the entitlement process for large-scale projects.
• Navigate California housing legislation to streamline project entitlements.
• Advise on environmental review strategies and document defensibility.
• Handle transactional documents, including development agreements and leases.
• Represent clients in entitlement defense in California and federal courts.
