Logan's Uniform Rental in Shelbyville, KY is seeking a dedicated UR Tunnel Operator to ensure tunnels, dryers and conveyors run efficiently. This full-time, hourly role starts with loading, starting and stopping equipment, and requires keeping the work area clean and safe.

You will report deficiencies to maintenance, maintain lint traps, reset alarms, identify linen types, and adapt to production needs, possibly working beyond schedule. Computer literacy and a positive attitude are essential.

PURPOSE : To ensure tunnels, dryers and conveyors run at top efficiency.

JOB SUMMARY : Ensures the tunnel is loaded correctly and efficiently running. Starts and stops the water pumps, tunnel washer, press, shuttle, dryers, and conveyors. Reports any deficiencies to maintenance. Keeps work area clean of linen and trash. Maintains lint traps and lint collectors. Resolves computer alarms. Maintains proper level on tanks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day
• Sufficient manual dexterity to complete tasks
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling
