Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Clive Behavioral Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) with clinical psychiatric experience to serve as UR Coordinator. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and patients to promote quality outcomes, interpret treatment plans and medical records, and manage discharge planning.

The role is on-site, full-time, Monday–Friday. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (nursing preferred) and 3–5 years of psychiatric/mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; nursing preferred.
• RN licensure is required; BSN preferred.
• 3–5 years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric/mental health setting.
• Experience with CMS quality improvement guidelines and Medicare/Medicaid.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical staff and patients to promote quality care outcomes.
• Interpret treatment plans and medical records per current standards of care.
• Oversee discharge planning and supervise treatment activities.
• Coordinate admissions screening and interface with treatment team, external case managers and managed care organizations.
• On-site, full-time work Monday–Friday.
