Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Two years related coaching, mentoring, or education experience; ability to upgrade skills.
• Experience with disadvantaged populations; TRIO/Upward Bound preferred.
• Ability to work in a team; multi-tasking.
• High integrity, ethics, and dedication to MCC mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide and develop project services at office and school sites.
• Develop and conduct orientation workshops for participants.
• Organize financial aid and other workshops for participants.
• Interview students and advise on application process and program requirements.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, grades, tests scores, and credits earned; implement improvement plans.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and project files.
