Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Administration or related field is required.
• Experience with grant administration and fiscal management is essential.
• Experience managing educational programs and student services is required.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities are expected.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator to develop timelines, curricula, student services and activities per grant requirements.
• Ensure academic programming includes mathematics, laboratory science, composition, literature, and foreign language.
• Establish relationships with faculty and staff to support program objectives.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive needs assessment system per TRIO requirements.
• Prepare and submit annual programmatic reports accurately and on time.
• Monitor student progress and evaluate program outcomes.
• Participate in staff recruitment and evaluation; coordinate with HR.
• Develop and oversee the summer program schedule.
• Coordinate training for Upward Bound staff and faculty.
• Conduct staff meetings to assess effectiveness and address challenges.
• Provide direction and supervision to program personnel and student staff.
• Develop and maintain fiscal tracking with the Assistant Dean of Research.
• Monitor and reconcile program budgets using reporting.
• Oversee Blumen tracking system for assessment and reporting.
• Coordinate with OSRA and the Department of Education for grant compliance.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure responsible grant stewardship.
• Serve as liaison with university, community organizations, and agencies.
• Oversee daily operations and coordination of Upward Bound services.
• Develop, implement, and maintain program policies with university leadership.
• Ensure activities align with risk management policies for work with minors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
