Job summary

LotusWorks seeks a skilled Ultrapure Water (UPW) & Wastewater Engineering Technician to support reliable operation and optimization of critical processes in a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility in Rio Rancho, NM.

The role requires 3+ years in UPW/wastewater or high-purity environments, hands-on UPW/DI system experience, pumps, RO/UV/ion exchange, and control systems knowledge. You will calibrate sensors, collect samples, and collaborate with EHS and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in UPW, wastewater, or high-purity environments.
• Experience with UPW/DI systems, RO, filters, pumps and related equipment.
• Familiarity with SCADA/BMS/Cimplicity and Maximo CMMS.
• Commitment to safety and EHS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain UPW/DI and wastewater systems.
• Perform rounds, readings, alarms, and equipment health checks.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per plans.
• Calibrate field instruments (temperature, pressure, pH, TOC, etc.).
• Manage data and samples with chain-of-custody and labs.
• Lead shift when assigned and coordinate with teams.
• Maintain PM/CMMS records and equipment histories.
• Support startups, commissioning, and modifications.
