Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate is seeking part-time and full-time Buyers in State College. You’ll help customers, manage incoming inventory, price items, and maintain an organized, attractive store. You’ll also post on social media and assist with online/offline merchandising.

The role offers cross-training, advancement opportunities, flexible scheduling, and health benefits for eligible employees within a growing network of nearly 30 locations.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week, including some weekends.
• Dependable, friendly and driven to keep stores organized and fun.
• Willingness to cross-train across store operations.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers – our store vibe is everything.
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories from vendors.
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items.
• Organize racks, tag and hang clothing.
• Ring out customers at the register and teach them how to sell to us.
• Help make posts on our social media pages.
• Merchandise; make the store look attractive and inviting.

We’re looking for a part time and full time Buyers to join the team at our Uptown Cheapskate State College location. Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week, including some weekends.
