Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a production laboratory.
• High school diploma or GED required, related training accepted.
• Two-year degree in science or a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Embodies the LGC core values and works collaboratively with the team.
• Prepare stock and custom bulks per Quality System Procedures.
• Use ERP system to maintain lab stock and warehouse inventory.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Set up, operate and maintain lab equipment (reactors, high shear mixers, balances).
• Adhere to PPE policy and safety requirements.
• Verify calibration of balances and lab equipment.
• Work well in teams and independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain organized, clean workspace to minimize hazards and contamination.
• Demonstrate math and computer skills; meet production goals.
• Learn quickly and be easily trainable; apply retained knowledge.
• Learn chemical nomenclature and proper handling of chemicals.
