Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Irvine, CA is seeking a Marketing Upstream Product Manager to lead next-generation electrophysiology product strategy and engage physicians to translate insights into viable roadmaps.

You will collaborate across R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to shape portfolio priorities, develop forecasts, and drive evidence-generation for launches in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in medical devices, healthcare, or a related industry.
• 1+ years of experience in upstream marketing, product management, strategy, innovation, or product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead upstream product strategy for next-generation electrophysiology technologies and platforms.
• Identify unmet clinical needs through physician engagement, VOC research, and market assessments.
• Translate customer insights into product requirements, value propositions, and innovation opportunities.
• Partner with R&D to evaluate concepts, define user needs, and guide early-stage product development.
• Develop market assessments, forecasts, business cases, and commercial strategies.
