Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks an Upstream Planning Leader in Red Oak, TX to drive upstream supply planning, coordination with suppliers, and material availability strategies for seamless production execution.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and implement continuous improvement across planning and logistics, while ensuring safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or manufacturing.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and inbound supply processes.
• Experience working within ERP and planning systems.
• APICS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead upstream planning processes including MRP execution and supplier alignment.
• Develop and manage supply strategies to ensure material availability for production.
• Coordinate inbound material flow from suppliers to support plant operations.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify inefficiencies.
• Proactively manage supply risks, shortages, and escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across upstream and logistics processes.
• Optimize logistics and supply chain processes to improve overall performance.
• Support plant operations by executing and improving planning and operational programs.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote safe working practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet production targets and business goals.
• Coach and support team members, providing guidance on non-routine or escalated issues
