Job summary

Hunt Oil Company is seeking a senior business development leader to drive domestic upstream growth, evaluate opportunities, and coordinate capital-raising efforts. You will work with technical and financial teams, manage relationships with investors and advisors, and present strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in upstream BD/AD, with strong financial modeling skills and a track record in closing transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of upstream oil and gas business development, A&D, or related finance/commerce role.
• Bachelor's degree required; engineering, geology, finance or related field preferred; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating, structuring, and closing upstream A&D transactions with full-cycle due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Drive domestic upstream business development for Hunt Oil Company in the U.S.; grow onshore footprint into new basins and play types.
• Lead efforts to raise third-party capital and manage investor/partner relationships.
• Prepare investment recommendations for senior leadership, combining technical, commercial, and financial analysis.
