Job summary

Hunt Oil Company in Dallas is seeking a Senior Supply Chain and Purchasing Representative to lead procurement for drilling, completion, and production materials across Upstream operations. You will build trusted vendor relationships, manage contract compliance, and coordinate with field teams to keep operations moving smoothly.

The role requires a Bachelor in Supply Chain or Industrial Distribution and 8+ years of Upstream oil and gas experience, plus SAP proficiency and strong negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Distribution is required.
• 8+ years of Upstream oil and gas experience or related service industry experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with Contracts team on pricing and terms.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of drilling, completion, and production materials including casing, tubing, and production equipment.
• Manage material control and asset tracking, including inventory records, monthly reports, and the material master database.
• Coordinate surplus material returns to suppliers, scrap sales, and movement of equipment from rigs to storage.
• Support Contracts team with requisitions, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and service agreements.
• Continuously develop process improvements across the purchasing space.
