Job summary

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, seeks an Upstream Flow Controller – Buyer to oversee supplier relationships, procurement execution, and inbound flow to support uninterrupted production at our Goodyear, AZ or Red Oak, TX facilities.

You will report to the Supply Chain Planning Manager and drive MRP, supplier collaboration, and inventory accuracy while prioritizing dynamic needs and ensuring material availability for mission-critical operations worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • 1–3 years in procurement or supply chain.
  • ERP experience preferred (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

  • Manage MRP and supplier order execution.
  • Ensure material availability and resolve shortages.
  • Manage replenishment backlog and supplier schedules.
  • Monitor ERP messages and elevate recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve supply flow.
  • Support inventory accuracy and discrepancy resolution.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, the Upstream Flow Controller – Buyer manages supplier relationships, procurement execution, and inbound material flow to support uninterrupted production.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
