Texas Capital is seeking a high‑performing Energy Corporate Banking Analyst III to deliver advanced financial modeling, underwriting support, and execution deliverables within the Upstream (E&P) coverage vertical. You will collaborate with Associates and VPs to support financing and strategic solutions for public and private E&P clients, including royalty, operated, and non-operated working interests.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Energy Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2.5–3.5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Energy Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Private Credit.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, comparable analysis, borrowing base modeling, A&D analysis) and Excel-based analytics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Very strong communication, writing, and presentation skills; teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Prepare presentation materials for client meetings, prospect discussions, internal committees, and capital markets interactions.
• Maintain knowledge of covered clients’ operating strategies, reserve profiles, capex programs, breakeven economics, and key metrics.
• Support senior bankers with financing ideas across RBLs, term loans, acquisition financings, hedging strategies, and capital markets alternatives.
• Assist in diligence coordination, financial modeling, materials review, and documentation.
• Contribute to portfolio monitoring, covenant tracking, and period reviews.
