Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Scientist to join an upstream development team supporting mammalian cell culture, cell line development, and bioreactor-based protein expression activities. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on mammalian cell culture experience, with CHO cell experience highly preferred.

This early-career role targets candidates with 1–2 years postdoctoral experience or PhD graduates. Compensation ranges from $35-50/hr with benefits including medical insurance, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

2–5 years of hands-on mammalian cell culture experience.
Experience with mammalian cell lines.
Experience in cell line development and/or bioreactor production.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on mammalian cell culture activities supporting upstream development and protein expression.
Support stable cell line development and mammalian cell line production activities.
Operate bench-scale bioreactors (1–10 L) and contribute to workflows.
Collaborate with upstream team and assist with automation and liquid handling systems.
