Blanchard Machinery seeks a dynamic General Sales Manager to lead the Upstate SC sales team covering Greenville, Spartanburg, Seneca, and Simpsonville markets, including Caterpillar and allied products. You will drive revenue, forecast demand, and optimize gross margins across new, used, and rental channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field required.
• 10+ years of direct sales and business development in heavy equipment.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong writing, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
• Clear and concise communication of technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Upstate SC sales team for Caterpillar and allied products.
• Develop and manage accurate regional sales forecasts and targets.
• Oversee P&L to grow gross profit and control expenses.
• Hire, train, and coach sales professionals to meet targets.
• Foster executive-level client relationships and drive customer retention.
• Represent the company at industry events and in the community.
• Maintain CRM and manage sales funnel, leads, calls, and quotes.
