The program supports reporting and writing on policy, politics, and related topics, with collaboration across the newsroom and opportunities to work with data and visuals.

Ideal candidates have up to five years of professional journalism experience and may have completed internships or equivalent work.

Qualifications

• No more than five years of full-time journalism experience.
• Experience with statistics and data analysis to drive reporting.
• Willingness to report and write on complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Gather data, analyze it and create news articles or graphics to share this analysis
• Participate in training and social programs designed for the fellowship
• Collaborate with colleagues across the newsroom
• Demonstrate support and understanding of our value of journalistic independence and a strong commitment to our mission to seek the truth and help people understand the world
