Job summary

Bloomingdale's is seeking a Server to enhance the guest experience in our dining area. You will deliver stellar service, guide guests through menu items, and ensure accurate orders while upselling select items.

The role emphasizes knowledge of portions, ingredients, and potential allergens to keep guests informed and safe. In this position, you’ll work in a fast-paced team, coordinating with kitchen staff and front-of-house to maintain a high standard of dining.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Effective communication in one-on-one and small group settings with customers.
• Flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Present menu and provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, or food allergies.
• Understand typical Coursing and its link to upselling.
• Take accurate food and drinks orders using the ordering system.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and learn new procedures.
