Job summary

Marriott Dallas Las Colinas is seeking an energetic server to join our upscale dining team. The role involves delivering exceptional guest experiences, presenting and describing menu items, and coordinating with kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.

The position requires at least 1 year of upscale dining experience and the ability to obtain a TABC Certification. You will work at a single location in Irving, with a full-time schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in upscale dining service.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TABC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests and create an excellent dining experience by anticipating needs.
• Describe menu items, ingredients and preparation, and accommodate dietary restrictions.
• Communicate orders clearly to kitchen and bar staff with accuracy.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service timing and flow of meals.
• Clear dishes throughout service to maintain guest comfort and pace.
• Follow Marriott brand standards including greeting guests by name and meeting service steps within set timeframes.
• Demonstrate wine service including presentation, opening and tasting when appropriate.
• Perform side duties including workspace cleaning and shift preparation for next team.
• All servers trained in delivering room service shifts and scheduled accordingly.
