Job summary

Mauna Kea Resort seeks friendly and professional dining staff to deliver exceptional service in our restaurant venues. You will take and input orders in the resort POS, serve meals and beverages, and greet guests with a welcoming, polished demeanor.

The role requires wine knowledge for menu pairings, adherence to liquor laws, and accurate payment processing. Candidates must be 18+, pass a health TB clearance, and complete responsible alcohol service training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be pleasant, friendly and smiling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to serve and sell alcoholic beverages.
• Must be trained in “responsible alcohol service” within 30 days of hire.
• Department of Health TB test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining room and proper table settings.
• Take food and beverage orders and input into the resort’s POS system.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner according to standards.
• Adhere to liquor laws and wine recommendations.
• Present check and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
