Job summary

Quail Ridge is seeking an experienced bartender to join our Food & Beverage team at our private club in Boynton Beach, FL. The ideal candidate brings knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits and understands relationship-building with members.

Responsibilities include preparing drinks to Quail Ridge standards, maintaining a polished bar, and providing warm, personalized service throughout shifts, including private events. Flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant, private club, or luxury hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished, and discreet demeanor.
• Ability to multitask during busy service periods.
• Flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Current food safety and responsible alcohol-service certifications preferred by applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to members and their guests.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages according to Quail Ridge standards.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, portion control, and speed of service.
• Engage with members in a friendly and professional manner while maintaining discretion.
• Learn and remember member preferences whenever possible.
• Anticipate member needs and provide attentive, proactive service.
• Enter and process beverage and food orders using the club's POS system.
• Communicate effectively with servers, culinary team, managers, and other F&B staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking procedures.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or product needs to management.
• Maintain proper glassware, garnishes, mixers, ice, and bar supplies.
• Ensure beverages are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature.
• Follow all responsible alcohol-service policies and applicable laws.
