Beacon Grand in San Francisco’s Union Square is seeking a Server Assistant to join a high-energy, luxury lounge team. You’ll support service floor and bar, uphold the Starlite Standard, and ensure guests enjoy an upscale, seamless experience from first cocktail to final check.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in upscale hospitality, strong English communication, and food handler/alc certifications, with flexibility for late-night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in a high-volume, upscale lounge or luxury hotel.
• Product knowledge: foundational understanding of cocktails, spirits, and wine service.
• The "Hustle": remain calm, graceful and efficient in a fast-paced nightlife environment.
• Communication: fluent in English with professional interaction with guests and team.
• Compliance: Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications required (e.g., LEAD/TIPS).

Responsibilities

• Atmosphere Maintenance: prepare the lounge to meet aesthetic standards.
• Precision Table Side Service: discreetly clear, refill, and anticipate guest needs.
• Bar & Floor Support: bridge between bar and floor; assist bartenders with service.
• Menu & Detail Management: keep cocktail and spirits menus pristine and updated.
• Sanitation & Safety: uphold health and safety standards, keep area clean.
• The "Reset": quickly flip tables for new arrivals and maintain flow.
