Job summary

Marriott - Key Tower, Cleveland, OH seeks a Server to provide exceptional dining service, take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean dining area. The role requires strong guest interaction and accuracy in transactions.

Must have at least 2 years of related experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Shifts include evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently (and in a team).

Responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
• Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment.
