Job summary

The Heathman Hotel in Portland, OR is seeking a part-time Server to deliver refined dining experiences with attentive service, professionalism, and warmth.

You will guide guests through the dining experience, learn menu and beverage options, and work closely with culinary and bar teams to ensure timely service. Prior upscale restaurant experience preferred. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in upscale or luxury dining preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests during service.
• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Demonstrate understanding of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation, and beverage pairings.
• Accurately take orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
• Ensure timely food and beverage delivery and presentation according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper table presentation within assigned sections.
• Collaborate with culinary, bar, and support teams for seamless service.
