Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a polished Front of House Manager for a high-volume upscale restaurant in Florida. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership on the floor, team development, and delivering a memorable guest experience with confidence and consistency.

The ideal candidate is systems-minded, energetic, and passionate about food, beverage, wine, cocktails, service standards, and driving sales. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role with healthcare, PTO, and a 50-hour workweek

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-of-house in upscale settings.
• Ability to train and motivate servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
• Strong focus on guest experience, service standards, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house operations with a strong floor presence.
• Coach and develop servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and support staff.
• Reinforce steps of service, table maintenance, and guest engagement.
• Drive sales through menu knowledge and upselling.
• Lead pre-shifts focused on goals, updates, and team development.
• Maintain opening/closing rituals, reservations, seating flow, and cleanliness.
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and hospitality.
• Partner with culinary and bar leadership for smooth service.
