Job summary

Menus-and-Venues is seeking Terrain Event Servers to deliver exceptional hospitality at high-end events. This fast-paced, team-oriented role emphasizes guest experiences from ceremony to toast and requires physical stamina for long shifts.

You will support setup across dining, patio and ceremony spaces, assist with moving furniture, and provide polished service during appetizers, wine service, and buffet or plated meals. Join a collaborative team and represent the Terrain brand professionally.

Qualifications

• Transportation: Reliable transportation required.
• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs, stand 8–10 hours, indoors/outdoors.
• Availability: Available on weekends, some holidays, min 3 shifts/month during peak season (April–December).
• Scheduling: Weekly recurring availability; Typical Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
• Flexible, proactive, and collaborative team attitude.
• Comfortable with formal event moments (speeches, dances).
• Experience in food service; upscale hospitality, catering, fine dining, weddings or banquet service a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support setup of dining room, patio/bar, and ceremony/garden areas.
• Move tables and chairs during transitions and breakdown for events.
• Provide warm, polished guest service during passed appetizers, tableside wine, and for buffet, plated or family-style meals.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and seating numbers for food running, especially during entrée service.
• Bussing glasses, dishes, silverware, and trash from all event tables to the kitchen.
• Restocking and transitioning all stationary food and beverage displays as needed.
• Drying, polishing & putting away all equipment used during the event.
• Maintaining clean and organized service stations.
• Represent the Terrain brand with professionalism and care at all times.
