Job summary

URBN Terrain Event Servers provide exceptional service at weddings and large events, from ceremony to afterparty. This fast-paced, team-oriented role suits hospitality pros who enjoy creating memorable guest experiences and thrive in a refined setting.

You’ll assist setup, serve courses, bus tables, manage stations, and support event transitions. Availability on weekends and some holidays is required, with typical shifts 2:00 PM–12:00 AM, and a path to growth within URBN brands.

Qualifications

• Transportation: Reliable transportation required.
• Physical requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs, stand/move 8–10 hours, indoor/outdoor work.
• Availability: Must be available on weekends, some holidays, 3 shifts/month during peak season (April–December).
• Scheduling: Weekly recurring availability; Typical Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
• Flexible, proactive, and collaborative team attitude.
• Comfortable with formal event moments (speeches, dances, etc.)
• Experience in food service; upscale hospitality, catering, fine dining, weddings or banquet service a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup of dining room, patio/bar, and ceremony/garden areas.
• Execute moving tables and chairs during transitions and breakdown for every event.
• Provide warm, polished, and intuitive guest service during passed appetizers and meals.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, tables and seat numbers for all food running.
• Bussing glasses, dishes, silverware, and trash from all event tables to the kitchen.
• Refilling, restocking, and transitioning all stationary food and beverage displays as needed.
• Drying, polishing & putting away all equipment used during the event.
• Maintaining clean and organized service stations.
• Represent the Terrain brand with professionalism and care at all times.
