Job summary

Kindred Restaurant in Davidson, NC is seeking experienced servers to join our front‑of‑house team. This fast‑paced, hospitality‑driven role rewards guests with genuine service, deep menu knowledge, and memorable dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience required; upscale or fine dining experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of wine, craft beer, and cocktails, or a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol per NC state law

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service throughout each guest's visit
• Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of daily menu changes, preparation methods, and ingredients
• Confidently guide guests through our wine, beer, and cocktail programs, offering thoughtful pairings and recommendations
• Anticipate guest needs and handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and questions with professionalism
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate, timely, and well-paced service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations
• Process orders and payments accurately using the restaurant's POS system
• Uphold the restaurant's standards for service and hospitality at all times
• Work collaboratively as part of a team during high-volume, fast-paced shifts
