Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking a dining service staff member to courteously and professionally serve Residents and guests in dining room, take-out and home delivery. Maintain a neat dining area, follow sanitation standards, and inform culinary management of resident preferences to ensure satisfaction.

You will work with team members to deliver consistent service, handle a full section of tables, and adhere to HSL Cultural Beliefs while supporting a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Residents, Staff and Management.
• Willingness to learn the art of food serving and residential dining protocols.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk short distances.

Responsibilities

• Presets tables and follows serving and cleaning procedures.
• Be familiar with daily food and dessert menus.
• Provide professional and hospitable service to Residents.
• Complete resident checks accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain dining room and work area in neat condition.
• Follow daily sanitation schedules.
• Note residents likes/dislikes and report issues promptly.
• Attend in-service training sessions with coworkers.
