Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation invites applicants for an Upscale Dining Experience restaurant server role. You will receive and deliver food and beverage orders, greet guests, and process payments using a computerized guest check system.

You will maintain dining room cleanliness, balance trays, and ensure courteous service. Six months F&B experience is preferred; must stand, lift 40 pounds, and communicate in English. Good customer service and ability to obtain licenses.

Qualifications

• Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Experience using a computerized guest check system.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests.
• May collect payment and make change for guest checks.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Receive and process food and beverage orders from guests utilizing a computerized guest check system.
• Retrieve prepared orders from kitchen area and deliver to guests.
• Carry and balance trays and/or push cart of food and beverages through kitchen and dining room (approximately 20 to 30 pounds).
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room.
• Present check to guest. Collect payment and deliver to cashier.
