Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly server to greet guests, take and deliver food and beverage orders, and maintain dining room cleanliness.

Responsibilities include processing orders with a computerized system, balancing trays, and presenting checks. Must stand/walk for shifts, lift up to 40 pounds, and communicate effectively in English. Prior serving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous serving experience required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Utilize computer system for placing food and beverage orders and processing payments.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Receive and process food and beverage orders from guests utilizing a computerized guest check system.
• Retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen area and deliver them to guests.
• Carry and balance trays and/or push a cart of food and beverages through the kitchen and dining room (approximately 20 to 30 pounds).
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room.
• Present check to guest.
