Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation seeks a professional Food Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will be the face of the restaurant, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, upselling, coordinating with kitchen and bar, and handling payments while upholding health and sanitation standards. This role requires excellent communication and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of food service or server experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Proficient with POS and cash handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them at designated tables in a timely manner.
• Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and address dietary restrictions.
• Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Monitor tables, refill beverages, clear plates, and provide items as needed.
• Check guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
• Process payments using POS and handle cash/card transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized station.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and management staff.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to increase revenue.
