Job summary

The Chatham Inn, Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star boutique on Cape Cod, is seeking a Dining Room Server to deliver warm, knowledgeable hospitality in a lively yet refined setting.

You will guide guests through the seasonal menu, develop wine knowledge, and maintain energetic, welcoming service across lunch and dinner shifts. Weekend availability and a polished appearance are required; compensation is $18.00 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Passionate about food, wine, and genuine hospitality.
• Comfortable in an upscale yet relaxed dining environment.
• Strong communicator with emotional intelligence.
• Able to read tables and adjust energy accordingly.
• Professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Available to work weekends and A.M. & P.M. shifts.
• Previous Experience In Upscale, Bistro, Or Wine-focused Environments Preferred.
• Wine knowledge or certification (WSET/CMS Intro) is a plus, but enthusiasm to learn is equally valued

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, genuine, and confident service — professional but never pretentious.
• Guide guests through a seasonal coastal bistro menu featuring pasta, grilled dishes, shareables, and locally sourced ingredients.
• Create a dining experience that feels lively yet relaxed.
• Build relationships with hotel guests and repeat local clientele
• Execute refined but approachable service standards; maintain pacing for lunch and dinner service
