The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Line Cook who is highly organized to work with our F&B operations and create a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1-year professional experience with Chinese cuisine in an upscale establishment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team, be creative and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mise en place for the station and maintain quality.
• Minimize wastage and maximize use of raw materials.
• Present items to standard and help develop new standards.
• Produce daily kitchen requirements and plan production.
• Cover other stations when the supervisor is absent.
• Follow hotel cost control policies and procedures.
• Assist in proper storage of food items.
