Ocean Prime Chicago, part of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, is hiring a LINE COOK to join our team. You will prepare hot and cold items, from salads to entrees, following recipes and portion controls, while maintaining high standards of sanitation and service.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and a positive attitude to create a premier guest experience. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $26.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth within our family of restaurants.

Qualifications

• Genuine hospitality and leadership qualities.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule; maintains uniform and personal hygiene.
• Preps all food to meet company recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards.
• Displays proper food safety techniques—hand washing, gloves, knife skills, and sanitation.
• Knows emergency procedures for the restaurant.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of prep areas, equipment, and floors.
• Performs duties with adherence to safety guidelines throughout the shift.
