Job summary

Desert Diamond Casino is seeking a Server I to join our Food & Beverage team in Arizona. The role focuses on greeting guests, providing knowledgeable food and beverage service, and delivering a positive dining experience in a fast-paced casino setting.

You will work under the supervision of the Food & Beverage Supervisor, require extensive knowledge of Title 4 Arizona liquor law, and complete TOGE alcohol training and internal controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; restaurant/server experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations and guest service.
• Knowledge of Title 4 (Arizona liquor law) regarding alcohol service.
• Knowledge of cash handling.
• Knowledge of restaurant menu, bar items, liquors and pricing.
• Ability to obtain Food Handlers card and TIPS certification.
• Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English.
• Ability to provide outstanding guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with upselling, check averages, and wine/alcohol recommendations.
• Proficient with POS systems and basic math for bill computation.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Provide knowledgeable food and beverage service, including cocktails and wine.
• Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bar.
• Ensure guests receive a positive, efficient dining experience.
• Tend to guests and manage requests; maintain clean service areas.
• Monitor guest intoxication and comply with all alcohol regulations.
